About

3 words to describe me:

Clever. Resourceful. Joyful.

Need more? Ahem…

I’m a Nigerian-American writer, marketer, and (former) psychology professional. I have a keen interest in women’s wellness, obsession with fashion, enthusiasm for beauty, and passion for fitness (the gym is my second home).

After earning my bachelor’s in English, then my master’s of science in Psychology, I worked as a high school counselor while simultaneously pursuing my passion for cultivating discussions and masterclasses for women entrepreneurs to develop marketing skills and confidence within fashion, beauty, and wellness industries. I later transitioned into the clinical field where I focused my psychology work in Applied Behavioral Analysis, supervising therapists and conducting research and intervention strategies, through observing treatments and writing technical reports

My interest in creative writing piqued — I focused on writing for my blog, launched a podcast, Pivot & Thrive, where I continued to share stories purposed to equip women to live audaciously. In addition, I secured freelance writing and marketing opportunities with notable beauty, wellness, and fashion brands, where I demonstrated success in leading marketing teams and creating revenue-generating copy.

Currently, I have pivoted away from full-time work within psychology and mental health, and am focused on cultivating and sharing my storytelling and writing skills, mentoring women, and working with brands to drive revenue through content messaging, and creative marketing.

In summary:

I’m a formidable, and multi-faceted writer with an unshakeable desire to uncover and share the heart of the matter.
